After yesterdays opening of the academic year, it's safe to say sustainability is high on the University of Twente's agenda! Lots of great news and sustainability driven initiatives. We welcome this, but we remain critical. As students, we must make sure sutainability doesn't simply become a marketing ploy with some initiatives here and there. Sustainability needs to be at the foundation of our university and be a deciding factor in funding, investments, research and education
